on bug 9207
from Pascal Quantin
Hi,
This usually happen when you try to use a win32 plugin with a win64 Wireshark
version for example.
The situation is still the same as when you opened bug 8879 in July: the plugin
source code needs to be recompiled against Wireshark 1.10.0 source code.
I saw that the zip file you put in bug 8879 does include the source code. So
you could recompile it yourself following the procedure described in bug 8879
comment #3, or ask to the person who provided you the dll to do it for you.
If you or someone are motivated enough to submit the code for inclusion in
Wireshark baseline (once you get the approval by the original author) please
fill an enhancement bug with the code attached (once the plugin has been
converted to a built-in dissector and has gone trough the various steps
described here:
https://www.wireshark.org/docs/wsdg_html_chunked/ChSrcContribute.html ).
