Capture filters are not processed by code in Wireshark; they're compiled by the
libpcap/WinPcap library Wireshark etc. use.  That library knows nothing of
Wireshark's host file, and provides no way for its callers to substitute their
own host name lookup routine for the gethostbyname() routine it uses by
default.
