Thanks for the suggestion Anders. I may try that later, but in the short term I
will just move my Wireshark work to the W7 system. That will mean spending a
few hundred dollars to upgrade some of my other apps to 64-bit, but it also
gets me going immediately.

Given that it appears to be (maybe) unique to the HD 4870 display adapter, do
you still recommend opening a new bug report?
