It's not a bug it's a feature ;-). See the check-in comment for r41216 and the
history in bug 3315.

I assume that the frames you're trying to filter out are used in the reassembly
of the frames that you're trying to keep?

There is also a request out there to allow you to choose whether or not to
include the dependencies: that's bug 7667 (the user who reported that one was
trying to filter out duplicate messages which were being mistakenly picked up
by the reassembly as dependencies).  Depending on your answer, this bug might
be a duplicate of that bug.
