Colorize filter preferences
The attached patch adds preferences for the background color for colorized
filter text boxes. The default is the current hardcoded values.
Wanted opinions on "naming convention" before committing. I would recommend
this be backported to just v1.10 because it uses the newer preference
architecture not in 1.8.
Not sure how this will affect qt gui.
