Thanks for the feedback. Based on the history, checksum validation seems quite
controversial. Unfortunately, the current validation scheme is hindering my
troubleshooting effort. I think it is a great idea to display the actual
checksum that wireshark calculates. Since checksum validation is disabled by
default, I think it would make sense for validation to be fully functional when
enabled. Perhaps softer language such as 'checksum mismatch' would be more
accurate.
