In version 1.8.6 (Windows x64), I was unable to apply ANY capture filter. The
button to view/save capture filters was present (in the mail toolbar), but
selecting one in the dialog had no effect. This texbox was completely missing
from the Capture Options - Interface dialog.
This may be an entirely different bug, though... or a relocation of this
textbox in this windows version!?
I then installed 1.9.2 and the capture filter texbox appears in the usual
location on the capture options menu. It also appears on the "Edit Interface
settings"
I can confirm that when I close/re-launch Wireshark, the capture filters I was
using in the prior session are not selected/applied. Seems the interface I
selected doesn't stay checked either, so that has to be re-selected every time
I launch the app.
