They're between the sub-components of a single packet only.

Okay, I've done that. I've renamed the "Dispatch simulation" to "Assembled
{metric,notification}" since I feel that the original title was a bit
unfortunate and marked that subtree as generated. I also experimented with
marking child node as generated, but IMHO it looks better this way. If you'd
like me to change this, please let me know.
I'll add an incremental patch to this bug. Please let me know if you'd prefer
for me to squash these changes into a single patch.
