Just to clarify for my own sake, this is both a bug and an enhancement request:
(BUG) if the current packet is the only matching packet, the bytes aren't
highlighted
(ENH) it would be handy to be able to restrict the search to the current packet
so that you get a 'no results' message if it's not there, rather than
potentially jumping to some arbitrary other packet and losing your place
In general, the Find Packet dialogue could use a redesign for usability
purposes. It's getting a bit confusing as to which options are available under
which type of search.
