Based on the re-size issue this is the same as bug #7775 - it's internal to the
GTK toolkit on Windows XP 32-bit. Valgrind is showing no unusual leaks or
errors at all on my linux system.
Anders, you mentioned in that bug that there was a new GTK point release that
may have fixed it - do we have plans to move to that release in trunk or for
1.8.5?
