Hi Mauro, thanks for the report.

Does simply resizing the main wireshark window (with or without a capture
running) cause the memory usage to grow significantly? If so then this is a
known GTK bug that should be fixed in the next release.

If not, does closing and reopening a saved capture file (without restarting
wireshark) also leak memory? If so, could you please attach the captured file
to the bug?
