With the Windows taskbar set to be displayed along the left edge of the screen,
I reproduced this with SVN 45059 on Windows 7 64-bit. Initially, all 3 of the
following preferences were selected:
-> Save window position
-> Save window size
-> Save maximized state
I then de-selected "Save window position", hit OK, Quit Wireshark and then
started it back up again. This time Wireshark loaded to the right of the
toolbar.
@Jaap, were those the preferences you were referring to, or preferences from
the gtkrc file perhaps?
