As far as I know, the GSM-SIM dissector corresponds to some really specific
needs for the Osmocom project (where you have the APDU and status word combined
in a single buffer). From what I can see, your patch would break the dissection
even when the direction is sent to OFF.
Harald, could you have a look at attachment 9134 and confirm my assumption?
Would it be possible to find a tradeoff maintaining Osmomcom compatibility
while allowing other dissectors to use this dissector by indicating the
direction?
