It looks like current spec is not available to non members of the OPC
foundation and an old draft found on internet (Release Candidate 1.00.08) was
giving a size of 4 bytes for the byte string (I guess this is where current
code comes from).
Could you share a sample of the spec to confirm your bugfix?
