I'm not quite sure with this. For example, if you look at the protocol
preferences, there are also possibility to set certain TCP/UDP ports to certain
protocol (c.f. SYNCHROPASOR, T.38, etc). Since this feature has a very similar
purpose I would rather put that as preference. But of course if most people
find it to be more suitable as profile, I would try to port it there.

You're right, I have implemented the fix already, but will wait for the
decision on previous issue. Just to make things clear, in the current patch you
can reopen the window again and save the settings. Sure this is not elegant,
that is why I agree completely with you suggestion.
