So why put the command-line scripts in /Library/Wireshark rather than
/usr/local/bin?
(And, if you're going to put them there, the current installer made
/Library/Wireshark owned by user ID 502; is that intentional?)
I'll try it at work, where I have an Open Directory account on an LDAP server,
to make sure that it puts me in group access_bpf locally. (Yes, your group set
can be the union of a group set in the local OD database and the database on a
server, e.g. I'm in group admin in my local machine but not on the OD server,
but that gives me admin access on my local machine, so that should be
possible.)
