In ‘Hex value’ or ‘String’ in ‘Packet bytes’ searches the bytes are not
highlighted in the data view and the node comprising those bytes is not
expanded in the tree view unless you click on a another frame and search once
again or search next and search previous one or more times. This problem has
been around since Ethereal 11 or before.
In highlight_field (main_proto_draw.c) a call to main_proto_tree_draw() is
needed immediately following the tree expansion code but before
gtk_tree_selection_select_path().
