When reading a SNOOP generated trace (converted to libpcap by editcap), the
file takes a full 5 minutes to read (using a profile designed for quick
reading). The file is just 23MB with 250,000 packets.
Reading a similiar size file on the same PC of 26MB and 218,406 packets (also
in libpcap format) takes about 6 seconds.
The first file has a much higher throughput rate (200 Mbps vs. less than 1
Mbps)and was limited in its packet size captured to 80 bytes.
