>From what I can determine, the PPP/USB dissector should register on
IF_CLASS_CDC_DATA (0x0a) - in addition to IF_CLASS_UNKNOWN and
IF_CLASS_VENDOR_SPECIFIC, for those rare occasions that the right set of
circumstances arise where PPP traffic will be (correctly) encapsulated in a USB
frame of that interface class.

A case in point being a fairly large trace file that I have, containing traffic
from a session between a WAP/MMS Gateway, a Windows-based client, and a mobile
phone.

Unfortunately, if I attempt to extract the set of frames containing that
traffic to a new file, they become frames of interface type "Vendor Specific" -
so they're a poor demonstration of that phenomenon. (But that's another matter
altogether).

Thanks in advance.
