This was fixed a while ago in rev 32096: there is a preference (which now
defaults to off) as to whether to use the MIBs or not. So unless you
specifically ask Wireshark to use the MIBs it won't try to use them (and thus
won't complain if you chose not to install them).
LEGO suggested only installing the smi_modules file if the MIBs are also
installed. That could be done but that file is (also) considered a "Global
Settings file" which is, by default, not removed. Since there is (now) no harm
in having that file around, I'm tempted to leave it as-is.
