--- Comment #2 from Ryan Steinmetz <rpsfa@xxxxxxx> 2009-08-28 14:14:27 PDT ---
Stephen,
Is it possible to shrink one of the files? I am indeed able to get wireshark
to crash with the same error message when executing:
tshark -V -S -r wireshark8ZAFXgymvi -n -R 'kerberos.error_code == 7'
The files are each ~200MB, so it would be preferred to be able to strip out
everything but the last set of relevant packets.
As a random side note, it does not appear to crash when loaded into Wireshark
1.0.2 under WindowsXP (with whatever bundled version of pcap is included in the
default installer). After upgrading that same XP machine to 1.2.1, wireshark
crashes when loading the file.
Thanks,
-r
