This bug is fixed in Revision 28866. It was protection code that
does not read files with larger snaplen than possible. However,
text2pcap writes them by default... So they are now acepted.

Thanks for reporting the bug and providing the tracefile.

The fix will be included in Wireshark 1.2.1 and higher.
