Overview:
When opening a normal pcap file, then attempting to Save As the file, the UI
appears to hang for right about 27 seconds. Then, things move along normally
(the file navigator opens, saves work fine, etc). This happens only with a
regular user -- file operations both work normally when running as root.
This also appears to happen in Wireshark 1.0.6 (just tested with a recently
compiled version fetched from the standard releases), so I have my suspicions
about a locally-configured setting; however, moving ~/.wireshark out of the way
(to ~/temp-ws) doesn't seem to help at all.
Also, clearing the "Open Recent" list does nothing to alleviate the problem.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open any normal pcap.
2) In the UI, navigate to File > Save As.
Actual Results:
Wireshark appears to hang for over 20 seconds.
Expected Results:
The file manager window should open immediately.
