I too find this annoying but I run into this when opening files. I probably
start WS from the command line 9 out of 10 times. While thinking about if I
could come up with a patch for this, I discovered a simpler solution (at least
to my problem).
Use the "Always start in:" option.
Specify "." as the "Directory:".
This seems to work fine for File/Open on my Windows and Linux versions of WS.
However, this setting does not seem to affect File/Save As (and the setting
*is* called "File Open dialog behavior"). So, adding a "CWD" option here is
not going to help.
So, should the "Save file as" dialog behave in a similar manner to the "Open
Capture File" dialog?
