Hello Anders,
The reason why the gsm a and Lb interfaces were seperated is that I noticed
significant differences between the encode/decode for BSSMAP between the two
interfaces, even though the IE names are exactly the same. So I think
packet-gsm_a_bssmap.c and packet-lb_bssmap_le.c need to stay separate.
However, looking a the existing packet-gsm_bsslap.c code I can see you are
using the 3GPP TS 48.071 V7.2.0 specification. That is the same specification
used in packet-lb_bsslap.c, so I am ok with merging these two files.
Finally, from your e-mail I am unsure of the next step to take.
Would you like me to merge the two files and resubmit the patch for review with
the updated packet-gsm_bsslap.c? Or are you going to add the extra
functionality to the file?
Regards,
Johnny
