I found an easy way to reproduce the crash.
You have to open a file containing only one TCP frame.
Then, on the detail window, expand the TCP checksum and timestamps.
Select the field to highlight the [good checksum] (for example).
And go the TCP protocol preference to deselect the "Validate TCP checksum" or
"Timestamp", and validate with the OK button.
After one or to try, I can reproduce the crash, and with Valgrind, the memory
corruption is detected. But I was no able to find out where is the bug.
I did notice, that this problem is not reproductible with Wireshark 0.99.6.
