The intent was passing it to the TCAP dissector to have it using it to keep
transaction information and get INAP and GSM MAP into the VoIP Calls dialog.
I think that either there's something wrong in your SCCP-MG packets or there's
something wrong in how we manage the affected SSN parameter of some of those.
It would be nice to see those packets anyway, could you just attach the hexdump
for few of these Mgmt packets (from SSCF-NNI upwards).
Table 1/Q.712 states that *both* the called and the calling party address
parameters are mandatory in *UDT* messages (MGMT messages are to be carried
over connectionless service). So I do not understand why these are not being
properly set.
What I have to clearly understand is the implications of the a) note to Table
2/Q.712:
"The affected SSN is equal to one if the message pertains to the SCCP itself or
to the SCCP node"
