You are right. I checked now with the latest Wireshark/TShark development build
1.0.99-SVN-25109 (SVN Rev 25109, 18-Apr-2008). After the option "Show tag
values and lengths" was enabled for PPPoED in the Protocol Preferences, all the
TAGs and their lengths are correctly displayed under "PPPoE Tags"
subtree/section - both in Wireshark and TShark.
I confirm the provided fix and close the bug case. It is really a very useful
feature to view content of PPPoE discovery packets.
