Yes, on Tiger, for the reasons mentioned.
Tiger's (and Leopard's) pcap_findalldevs() will not find any devices that
wouldn't be found by SIOCGIFCONF, so we could, at least when building on Tiger,
disable use of pcap_findalldevs() and, instead, use our old SIOCGIFCONF-based
code to find the network adapters - and do as recent versions of libpcap (too
recent, alas, to be the ones that come with Tiger) do, and, on OS X, explicitly
avoid trying to open devices with names beginning with "wlt".
