Not avaiable- causes PC to blow up

Hi,
I build a new PC from scratch (T61 Thinkpad) with Windows XP. I routinely back
up the OS (it's on a separate partition) about 3 months ago.
First I tried to run wireshark- all the ethernet went dead. It appeared to
have messed withthe TCP/IP windows stack.
So I went back to anold image.
Recently, not having recalled if I chnaged the default install path, I loaded
it again to look at a trace sent to me and it worked. After I went homethat
night iwoke up to the PC continually cycling through the BSOD.
I am now back on the original image again. I am 99.9% sure it's your app doing
this somehow
