Yes, this would be great.
I've tried it with following result:

1. Enable via Preferences -> works for this session -> restart -> does not work
(in Preferences the protocol is still enabled but in Enable Protocols not)

2. Enable via Enable Protocols -> works for this session -> restart -> does not
work

3. Enable via Preferences AND Enable Protocols -> works for all sessions ;-)

Is this correct that you have to enable the dissector once in both, the
Preferences and the Enable Protocols dialog box?
