It looks like Gerald compiled it for Windows awhile ago when the project was
still Ethereal. The library is still available from
http://www.ethereal.com/~gerald/nettle-1.10.zip.
However, from discussions on the Wireshark developer's list, it looks like
support for it has been dropped. Refer to:
http://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-dev/200609/msg00236.html.
So, I guess the question is, "Should the nettle library be added to the
Wireshark Win32 downloads, or should all NETTLE remnants in Config.nmake, etc.
be removed altogether?
Incidentally, the latest version of nettle is 1.15 available from
http://webscripts.softpedia.com/scriptDownload/Nettle-Download-26485.html#download_locations.
Someone would have to compile it for Windows though.
