Hi,
Wireshark binary is installed as setuid root binary.
I am starting a capture through Wireshark GUI.
In display options, "Update list of packets in real time" is checked.
When I try to stop the capture, an error window is popped up, and the capture
doesn't really stops.
The error that pops up is:
=============
"
Error while capturing packets:
Please report this to the Wireshark developers.
{This in not a crash; please do not report it as such.)
"
===============
One observation: If in display options, "Update list of packets in real time"
box is NOT checked, then stop capture works fine.
Regards,
Arun
