No news about this bug? I've the same problem running last version on wireshark
on windows xp. The hardware is: Intel Core 2 duo 2.4 ghz (TM7700) with 2 gb of
ram, and Broadcom Gigabit 57xx as network card. if it can help, the video card
is an nvidia fx with 256mb phisical and 256 shared (turbocache).

I run Outpost Firewall Pro 4.0, it reports all allowed, i've tried to disable
anti-leak controls and even to disable the firewall entirely (but not to
uninstall it). I've installed virtualdaemon tools (which include virtual scsi
driver that stats to be incompatible with software debuggers. I've also
installed gimp, which uses gtk and it runs fine.

I notice the slowdown when a new window (prefs, capture, ...) is opened and
during capture, i couldn't even press the stop button and i have to kill
wireshark.exe by task manager, but i'm able to view captured files at full
speed.

The build i use is the one downloadable on sourceforge.
