To be precise:
the "no devices found" problem is because Wireshark is not running as an
account with access to the /dev/bpf devices (either make them owned by you,
make them owned by a group to which you belong and readable and writable by the
owning group, or run as root);
the X11 error is unrelated, and is due to a bug in the Leopard X server, as
described in bug 1953 - see that bug for the fix (a version of the Leopard X
server that fixes a number of problems can be downloaded from a link mentioned
in a comment of mine in the bug).
