You have understood the problem but in my case there is no subsequent empty TCP
packet. There is only the one tcp packet / etherent frame. This packet is then
resent repeatedly. (It is possible that the packet is eaten by the firewall
which may require to see the optional user-agent header.) There is never one
more empty TCP packet in my case. To reproduce the HTTP GET that I am using
please try the PHP get_file_contents() function with the http wrapper e.g.
get_file_contents(http://mirror.freepbx.org/modules-2.2.xml)
