Build Information:
Version 0.99.6a (SVN Rev 22276)

1. Start a capture.

2. While capturing go to Edit -> Preferences -> Columns.

3. Change something and click ok/apply.

You get a console screen with:

01:14:55          Err  file file.c: line 294: assertion failed: (cf->state !=
FI
LE_READ_IN_PROGRESS)


Press any key to exit

And the program exits.
