If libpcap is changed first and Wireshark is not, then Wireshark will not be
able dissect the packets from libpcap at all. But if Wireshark is updated first
then you are rigth, - there will be no real effect compared to how it currently
works... not until libpcap is updated also. With the proposed patch the
transistion will be "smoothest" if Wireshark gets updated first.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to hear from Paolo so that we can reach consensus
where to put the direction flag which is actually the first step in this
process.
