Well, I don't know if I'd say it's "wanted". Really what should happen is that
the GTP dissector should be made "new style" (that is, it should return 0 if it
finds the packet that was handed to it is not really GTP). That may or may not
be easily possible, though. It's easy if the protocol has a finite list of
known message types or something like that. Even then, it essentially becomes
heuristic so it will never be perfect/100% correct (like disabling the GTP
dissector would be).
