The wireshark statistics/conversations counters for Ethernet and IPv4 do not
appear to count  truncated packets (limit capture length or -s in tshark). The
TCP counters appear to be correct.

Same behavior in tshark -z conv,xxx.

Same behavior on Linux based systems using Fedora RPM installation.

Note: old ethereal 0.10.13 does not exhibit the error.
