Summary: fix decoding display of Cisco Skinny DialedNumber
message
Product: Wireshark
Version: 0.99.5
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Low
Component: Wireshark
AssignedTo: wireshark-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: robby.rose@xxxxxxxxxx
Build Information:

The Packet Details view for the Cisco Skinny DialedNumberMessage is off a bit.
The last field is listed as "Line Instance" but the data is from the final 4
bytes, skipping over 4 bytes which actually are the line instance. Due to this
confusion, the view also has the red bar for "Malformed Packet: SKINNY", which
is misleading.
Data Length - 4 bytes, correct
Reserved - 4 bytes, correct
Message ID - 4 bytes, correct
CalledParty - 24 bytes, correct
Line Instance - 4 bytes, currently ignored
Call Identifier - final 4 bytes, value currently shown after "Line Instance"
text
I can send an example .pcap if you need one.
Thanks,
Robby
