Well, could you try the latest release 0.99.5 before we dig any deeper into
this?
If it helps, please report.
If not:
start a capture until it crashes.
Restart Wireshark and have a look at Help/About Wireshark/Folders/Temp to get
the directory where WS places unsaved capture files. Use explorer and get into
that dir, you'll need to find a file which name starts with etherXXXX and that
has a corresponding "last changed" time.
That should be the file that crashed WS - you may try to load that file into
WS. If this file crashes WS again, attach it to this bugreport.
