with libpcre 5.0, without Net-SNMP, without ADNS, without Lua, without GnuTLS,
without Gcrypt, without Kerberos, without PortAudio, without AirPcap.
Running on Linux 2.6.11.4-21.15-default, with lipcap version 0.8.3.
Built using gcc 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)

Neither wireshark nor ethereal seem able to properly put my Atheros wireless
card into promiscuous mode. Ifconfig says that the card is in promiscuous mode,
but no packets are captured.
But if I start up Kismet in another window, packets are then captured. As soon
as I shut kismet down, the packet capture stops again. Restarting kismet starts
the capture flowing again.
