When using Wireshark on Windows systems, the color scheme does not appear to be
modifiable by the user for the packet details section. As a result,
Wireshark
uses the foreground color of the user and it's own backgroud scheme.
When used with a color scheme that combines light fonts/writing with dark
backgrounds, this yields a very light text on a very light background and makes
the fields unreadable unless they are highligted. This makes browsing through
the packets more difficult to do if you're looking for information in that
center section.
It would be much better to allow those fields colors to be configured by the
user. Currently, only the packet summary (top frame, to be colorized
according to the users preferences.
