The version of libgcrypt that ships with Wireshark has a patch applied which is
supposed to speed up entropy gathering under Windows:

    http://www.securitypunk.com/libgcrypt/index.html

It was applied due to reports of long startup delays during the entropy
gathering process.  I'll work on a fix.

BTW, which version of Windows are you running?
