Hhm, there is a reproducable behaviour:

I use user mode linux (UML) to play with various things. If I sniff the traffic
between my host system and a running UML instance over the interface tap0 and
mount within UML an nfs share of the host system, only the first network packet
is displayed (TCP to the port"sunrpc" of the host system).
If I resize now the wireshark windows or do other things like that no
additional packet is displayed.
If I stop sniffing the traffic the full sniffed traffic of mounting a nfs share
is displayed immediately.
