Summary: if close Wireshark while it is minimized, next time you
start it, can't un-minimize it
Product: Wireshark
Version: 0.99.0
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows 2000
Status: NEW
Severity: Minor
Priority: Low
Component: Wireshark
AssignedTo: wireshark-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: jeff.morriss@xxxxxxxxxxx
I'm using 0.99.0pre1 (sorry, it's not in the version list above). I closed
Wireshark while it was minimized (right-click on the task bar and select
Close).
The next time I opened Wireshark it started minimized (hey, why not... I have
"save window size", "save window position", and "save maximized state"s set).
But I can't un-minimize it by clicking on its task.
I could maximize it by right-clicking on the task and selecting Maximize (thus
getting my window back).
The other workaround I found was to delete the "recent" file (thus removing the
save-maximize setting).
