I am presently using version 0.9.15, but I can upgrade
if the option to obtain the offset is available in
some latest version. Alternatively, I can modify some
of the code if this functionality can be easily
obtained. (ofcourse I prefer the former option!)

tethereal 0.9.15
Compiled with GLib 1.2.10, with libpcap 0.6, with libz
1.1.3,
without UCD-SNMP or Net-SNMP, without ADNS
Running on Linux 2.4.20-8

thanks,
Rohit
