Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] Does Ethereal capture traffic BEFORE or AFTER pers firewall ?

Assume I installed on my PC a personal firewall like Kerio, ZoneAlarm, ...
Does Ethereal resp. WinPCap capture the outgoing traffic packets BEFORE (=inside)
or AFTER (=outside) the firewall?

How is it with incoming traffic ?
