I just got word today from 'upstairs' they would not fund the
maintenance support agreement [ meaning no more updates/upgrades for
me] for my copy of Sniffer software, which I've had for several years.
And now, you tell me, you're gonna take this away from me, too?
Next phone call will probably be to tell me my dog has died!!
Why not leave this as is; I have rules that put the incoming e-mails
into a folder which I read as time permits. I print out those that have
a direct meaning to what I do and archive and compress the folder for
later scanning if I need to search for something else.
This current format of using a mailing list works just great for me. An
internet forum will greatly diminish the information I am able to gleam
from reading these various and wonderous e-mails.

Subject: [Ethereal-users] Replacing Mailing-List by Forum !!
I would urgently suggest to replace the Mailing-List by a forum/bulletin
board.
Mailing-lists were a good idea in the good old days of internet 10 years
ago.
But now forums are a better way to search, handle and post news and
questions.
The traffic in this Mailing-List is much to high, the search features
are very unconvenient.
So why not moving to a forum at forum.openvpn.net ? Software is
available for free.
Nearly all other software communities introduce forums.
